A Personal Invitation from Dr. Kim ...

 I spent 30 years studying real-world challenges to preventing and managing diseases, and living a healthy active lifestyle.

     My research has spanned the spectrum (addictions & tobacco control, medical market research, community and corporate health promotion). I studied a wide-range of populations (medical patients & caregivers, youth, women, and online health communities), lectured at universities and conferences, and taught older adult and chronic disease exercise classes. 

     Plus, I have all the credentials to say  -  with confidence - that I "get" how people think and act (or don't act) when it comes to taking care of their health: Ph.D. (Behavioral Science and Health), National Cancer Institute of Canada Postdoctoral Fellow, adjunct professor, etc.

     Here’s what I learned. It’s simple: the “all-or-nothing” approach doesn’t work. Starting a new health behavior or changing an old habit is a journey, a lifestyle. It starts with changing the mindset.

     My innovative byte-size approach to wellness is a culmination of EVERYTHING I researched and taught, and experienced first-hand on my own disease prevention journey.
