Questions companies ask before saying YES to BSWA

Uncategorized May 20, 2020

Companies who get the MOST out of my program are usually the ones who ask the most questions.

My response: bring them on!

Because at the end of the day, I only want you to join Byte-Size Wellness Academy if:

1) Your company is committed to helping employees maintain healthy habits and stay healthy and fit from home during COVID-19.

2) You want to start planning NOW and build a vision of a healthy workplace culture that will keep employees engaged and revitalized when they return to work.

So without further ado, here are the most common questions about BSWA:

1. There is so much free content out there. What makes BSWA different?

Fabulous! That means that people are hungry for wellness-related information.

Here's the thing about free content: it creates a lot of confusion and overwhelm.

So what makes BSWA different?

  • It reduces information overwhelm. BSWA cuts through the information clutter and provides clarity and evidence-based direction. No more running on the "content treadmill."
  • It saves you time and energy. BSWA eliminates the need for you to mine through all the research and information. Everything you need to know and want to ask is conveniently located in one place.
  • BSWA takes out the confusion, complexity, and conflicting advice and makes wellness easy, accessible, understandable, and sustainable.

Together with a team of registered dietitians, sleep scientists, my own sleep doctor, and other health experts, I synthesize, translate and package evidence-based content into practical, actionable, step-by-step guides and resources to use in the real-world. In employees' busy everyday lives.

2. What do I need to know and do to get employees started?

Byte-Size Wellness Academy provides a Welcome / Kick-Off Starter Kit and all the promotional and marketing materials for HR (or the employee wellness POC) to raise awareness and build excitement for the program. The downloadable resources are housed in our members only BSWA website (company portal) and can be downloaded anytime.

Each company will provide BSWA with a csv file (securely uploaded to a server) that includes employee names and email addresses. Upon receipt of the csv file, registrants are entered into the course portal and then sent a welcome email that includes unique login credentials and information to orient employees to the program.

3. How much time will it take for employees to go through the program?

The last thing you and I want is one more thing on employees' busy "to do" list. BSWA has been intentionally structured as a micro-learning program that maximizes what employees learn and absorb within the minimal amount of time. The content is delivered in a byte-sized way that will not overwhelm.

The video lessons are short (between 2.5 - 10 minutes per video) and take cumulatively 6 hours to view. Employees can also view the videos (or binge watch them like a Netflix series) at home with their spouse or significant other and embark on the wellness journey together!

The "homework" (worksheets, planning sheets, info guides etc.) is optional; completion time varies by employee (estimate 5-10 hours total over a 12-month access period).

Certificates of completion are granted upon completing each module and at the end of the self-guided program.

4. How does BSWA deal with employee turnover?

We will take care of new hires and departing employees. Just provide a new csv file that includes the names and email addresses of new and departing employees to BSWA quarterly. Employees will be subsequently entered and/or removed from the platform. Each new hire will have full access to the program for one year from the date of entry in the BSWA platform.

For companies on the fixed cost plan ($2,400 for under 100 employees), there is no cost to add additional employees.

For companies on the 100-500 employees plan, each new hire will cost $24 per employee per year. Companies with 500+ employees have custom pricing. New hires will be priced at the custom price quoted for each company.

So.... you may be thinking, "let's wait and see, pause and freeze expenses during COVID-19."

Employees who are tele-working have more time on their hands. They're spending more time online. They want to learn new things, master new skills, break old habits, and pursue new interests. There is no better time than NOW to infect employees in a positive way by helping them (and their families) be well and stay well at home and return to work feeling fitter, stronger and revitalized.

That's why I'm making it easy to get employees started. Now. I'm offering reduced fees if your company joins before June 30 ($997 USD for companies with 100 employees or less). After June 30, the price increases to $2,400.

Payment plans are available for companies with 100+ employees. Regardless, I make wellness accessible because BSWA is reasonably priced (starting at $24 per employee per year).

At this point, you should have everything you need to make the best choice for you and your company.

If that road leads you into Byte-Size Wellness Academy ...

then I look forward to "meeting" you and my new "students" inside.

Be well,
