Bone Health for Adults 50+
As leaders move into their mid-40s, 50s and beyond, maintaining strength, balance, and mobility is vital for supporting leadership stamina and longevity. This evidence-based workshop reflects the latest 2023 Clinical Practice Guidelines for improving bone health, managing low bone mass and uncomplicated osteoporosis, and preventing falls and fractures.
What participants will learn:
- Three essential types of exercises proven to prevent falls and fractures
- Key posture and movement modifications to ensure exercises, daily tasks, and household chores are done safely.
- Simple lifestyle habits that support lifelong mobility, agility, and independence.

I'm a health behavior scientist, health/life coach, and professional speaker specializing in health and human connection.
My hands-on person-centered approach is grounded in more than 25 years of research experience in exercise and health promotion, disease management, addictions and aging. I have a Ph.D. in Social and Behavioural Health Sciences from the University of Toronto, where I later served as an adjunct professor, and I completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the National Cancer Institute of Canada. I worked at renowned teaching hospitals, consulted to pharmaceutical companies and health organizations, and taught chronic disease and osteoporosis exercise classes.
My goal is to make wellness accessible and sustainable. It starts with shifting from an "all-or-nothing" approach to a micro-step, micro-habit mindset. Small changes, when repeated, lead to healthy habits that have long-lasting results.
